Mike & Juno
Mike and Juno were paired on September 21st, 2014. HUH received a call from Homeward Bound asking us to hold Juno for a few days until a foster could be found. Her owner was leaving for military training and could not take her. He had been unable to find another home for her and was trying to avoid dropping her at a shelter. After a couple of days, HUH knew they she would make a great service dog for the right person. She was brilliant and learned commands quickly and was very at ease in public situations. We decided to take her into our training program immediately.
"I love my Juno! Words do not do her justice! She has given me so much comfort in all phases of life! One of my favorite times is in the barbershop with her every two weeks! It is so awesome to watch her. She loves kids... so just lays there and has the 'I love you eyes' to all the little kids in the shop! At work....everybody always says, 'I was having a bad day until I saw you two in the hallway...you and your dog bring me so much joy' I love my Juno!"
